By accessing and using Purveyors ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Description of Service

Purveyors is a comprehensive coffee tracking and roasting platform that provides:

  • Green coffee catalog and inventory management
  • Roasting profile tracking and data visualization
  • AI-powered semantic search for coffee recommendations
  • Profit tracking and business analytics
  • Integration with coffee suppliers and market data

3. User Accounts and Authentication

To access certain features, you must create an account using Google OAuth authentication. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
  • Providing accurate and current information

4. Subscription and Payment Terms

4.1 Subscription Plans

We offer different subscription tiers with varying features and capabilities. Subscription fees are processed through Stripe and are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.

4.2 Payment and Billing

  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time

4.3 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Impersonate another person or entity
  • Violate the intellectual property rights of others
  • Use automated tools to access or scrape our service

6. User Content and Data

6.1 Your Data

You retain ownership of all data you input into the service, including coffee inventory, roasting profiles, and business information. We do not claim ownership of your content.

6.2 Data Usage

By using our service, you grant us permission to:

  • Store and process your data to provide the service
  • Use aggregated, anonymized data to improve our platform
  • Generate AI-powered recommendations based on your preferences

6.3 Data Export and Deletion

You may export your data at any time. Account deletion removes account-owned application data and mutable provider identity links. Requesting account deletion immediately cancels the entire attached subscription; unlike ordinary subscription cancellation, access does not continue through the current billing period. Payment transaction records may remain with Stripe where required for payment processing, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.

7. Intellectual Property

The service, including all content, features, and functionality, is owned by Purveyors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our source code is available under open source licenses as specified in our repository.

8. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with third-party providers including:

  • Google OAuth: For authentication services
  • OpenAI: For AI-powered features and recommendations
  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Supabase: For data hosting and management

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

10.1 Service Disclaimer

The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

10.2 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Purveyors from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service, violation of these terms, or infringement of any rights of another party.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any breach of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or through your account settings.

13. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Purveyors is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
