For account deletion, we temporarily store a signed reauthentication assertion in a secure, HTTP-only cookie. We clear it after Parchment accepts the deletion. We do not create an account-bound accepted, receipt, or completion cookie.

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for such transfers in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Account deletion immediately cancels the entire attached subscription, removes account-owned application data, and removes mutable links to payment-provider records. Stripe may retain transaction records and immutable historical references where required for payment processing, fraud prevention, tax, accounting, or other legal obligations. Remaining provider records are governed by Stripe's retention terms.

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
